Charlene Quint Kalebic: A Dad’s Legacy as a Veteran of World War 2

In this, our special for Veterans Day, Charlene Quint Kalebic, author of Angels of Ebermannstadt: The Journey of an Honored Soldier, a Daughter, and Life’s Greatest Lessons of Faith and Friendship, tells stories of the two trips she took with her father back to the places where he served in WW2 Europe. On these journeys she discovered what helped make her father the godly example he was to her and to many others. Charlene discovered that her dad’s faith shone brightly even in the darkness of war, through the kindnesses he showed, the promises he kept, and the lifelong friendships he made. His is the story of “an ordinary man of faith in an extraordinary time of war.”
